Boundary Survey

A survey to establish or re-establish the boundaries or limits of a property or easement identified by a deed of record is commonly referred to as a Boundary Survey.  Simply put, I will set markers at all of the property corners and provide a drawing showing all of the dimensions.

Topographic / Mapping Surveys

A Topographic Map ('topo') is a site map showing the topographic (Earth Elevations) features of a site by way of contour lines. Topographic features could include drainage patterns, locations of rock outcroppings, hills and other natural features. The map may also include artificial features such as buildings, utility locations, detention ponds and other features which would affect engineering design on the site.

Site Plan and Construction Layout

A site plan is a drawing of proposed improvements to a given lot. A site plan can show the building footprint, driveway, drainage facilities, sanitary sewer lines, water lines, trails, lighting, and landscaping and garden elements.

Flood Plain Certifications

A community's permit file must have an official record that shows new buildings and substantial improvements in all identified Special Flood Hazard Areas (SFHAs)are properly elevated. This elevation information is needed to show compliance with the floodplain management ordinance. This can be used by the property owner to obtain flood insurance.
